  6.                 I did not slash her with a knife.
  7.                 I did not bonk her in the head. 
  8.                 I did not know that she was dead.

  10.                 I stayed at home that fateful night. 
  11.                 I took a cab, then took a flight. 
  12.                 The bag I had was just for me. 
  13.                 My bag! My bag! Leave it be!

  15.                 When I came home I had a gash. 
  16.                 My hand was gashed from broken glass. 
  17.                 I cut my hand upon a glass. 
  18.                 A broken glass did cause that gash.

  20.                 My friend, he took me for a ride.

  22.                 From North to South, we took a ride. 
  23.                 But from the cops, I could not hide.

  28.                 The circus-hype the viewers saw.

  34.                 I'll wheedle and whine; I'll cut a deal! 
  35.                 If it's "Not Guilty," so glad I'll feel.
